VEX Robotics Team UAT is a future-focused team of builders, coders, and innovators from the University of Advancing Technology. We design, build, and battle high-performance robots in regional and national competitions while developing real-world engineering, coding, and teamwork skills.
HOW IT ALL STARTED 2021
The VEX Robotics Team at UAT began in 2021 with a small group of passionate students dedicated to technology and innovation. From humble beginnings in campus labs, we started sketching, soldering, and coding our first competitive bot.
WE ENTERED OUR FIRST COMPETITION 2022
By 2022, we were ready to compete. With a custom-built robot designed from the ground up, our team stepped into the world of VEX competitions and made our mark with strong finishes and rapid improvements.
GROWING OUR REPUTATION 2023
In 2023, we expanded our team and began mentoring new members. We launched our second-generation robot with upgraded motors, sensors, and modular design, earning awards for both innovation and performance.
BUILT FOR THE FUTURE 2024
This year, we're focused on building smarter, faster, and more adaptive robots. With new AI integrations and precision controls, our latest build represents everything we’ve learned — and we’re just getting started.
